The Cadillac Lyriq is a high tech modern masterpiece. We set out to elevate our instructional genre to well crafted and visually stunning films. Our films inform, and yet stand on their own in their artistry. Between realism and impressionism. Between fashion and art. 

Shot using LED screens, we were able to create real-time, interactive environments that synced perfectly with our 3d cameras for a cutting-edge, fully immersive new method of filming.

HOW WE MADE IT

The word “lyric” is defined as expressing a writer's emotions in an imaginative and beautiful way, and that’s exactly what we set out to do. Taking inspiration from film, art, and fashion, we wanted to create informational, yet highly aesthetic and cohesive pieces that all flow together.

We used UE5 to shoot using virtual production where we had full interactive control of lighting, sun position, and our 3d environments. We were able to seamlessly mix full CG shots with our live shots in our films in a way where it’s impossible to tell what’s real and what’s CG.

Our LED screens approach opened up many creative possibilities to light interactively, and find an incredible look for each and every shot. Our ethereal environments, smooth cameras, soft lighting, and technological innovation all come together to create works of art.
